Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair various HVAC units. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in the field, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service and efficient system performance.

Duties



Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment during installations and repairs. Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance needs.

Experience



Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with skills in appliance repair, plumbing, welding, and building systems. Familiarity with HVAC schematics and technical documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of work.

Job Responsibilities:



Install and service air conditioning units, return for start-ups when required Install and service furnace and air handling equipment (Tankless & HWT experience is preferred) Attend and complete service calls on a variety of residential HVAC systems Travel between service locations throughout the Calgary region Maintain and track vehicle stock/supply/materials Complete work orders and time sheets electronically

Qualification & Skill Requirements:



2+ years service experience on residential HVAC systems 2+ years experience installing and servicing air conditioning systems (must be fully trained in AC equipment, installs, service & maintenance, no exceptions) Able to troubleshoot, diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions independently Able to follow directions and able to work alone Have a clean Driver's Abstract Have a clean criminal background check and be bondable Demonstrate excellent customer service skills (communicate clearly, professionally and respectably with home owners and clients) Must be able to lift 50lbs Basic computer/mobile application skills Identify opportunities for improvement Must live in Calgary or surrounding area
