Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Duties

Install and maintain HVAC systems, including air to water heat pumps, boiler systems and ductwork Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality. Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency. Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete installations and repairs. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts. Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Requirements

1-2 years experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role. G3 or G2 gas license Experience with sheet metal an asset. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Familiarity with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair is preferred. Experience in construction is a plus. Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC installations and repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
