DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the implementation of and administer employee policies Actively participate in promoting positive employee relations through all interactions Monitor and address employee issues related to attendance, workplace behaviour, and policy non-compliance. Maintain employee files and Human Resources Information Systems Develop and support the delivery of HR driven events, initiatives and programs Provide recruiting assistance and candidate screening and assessment Work towards improving company policies and procedures Handle termination-related matters and prepare termination files. Provide training and support to other team members of the human resources department Be well-versed in laws and regulations regarding employment Understands the claims process for both work related and outside work injury and illness Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years of relevant HR experience preferred Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred Knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures A strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills Knowledge about conflict management Strong decision-making skills Excellent communication skills Intermediate PC skills, including email, internet, Microsoft Word, Excel & Teams Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork, collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and outstanding customer service. Reliable Transportation is essential - there is no transportation to the facility.

Pay: $62,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
