We are currently seeking an experienced
HR Generalist
to join our team as
HR Manager - Canada
. This is an exciting opportunity to lead HR operations and contribute directly to our growing organization.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the
VP of Finance/Operations
, the
HR Manager
will play a key role in managing and supporting all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, health & safety, performance management, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
Advise and coach leadership on employee relations and performance issues
Lead investigations and maintain accurate, confidential documentation
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection
Conduct background checks and pre-employment verifications
Facilitate onboarding and deliver new hire orientations
Health & Safety
Manage WSIB claims and return-to-work programs
Ensure workplace policies comply with health and safety regulations
HR Programs & Compliance
Coordinate and track employee performance reviews and goal setting
Administer group benefits and support employee programs
Develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with employment laws
Support training and development initiatives
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate employee records, policies, time-off tracking, and LOAs
Prepare regular HR and payroll-related reports (e.g. payroll summaries, tax/benefit deductions, vacation accruals)
Maintain organizational charts and employee directory
Assist with various HR and cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Post-secondary education in Human Resources
Member of HRPA required
CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset
Experience:
3-5 years in an HR Generalist role
Payroll experience (minimum 1 year preferred, ADP experience preferred)
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Professional, team-oriented, and highly organized
