Position Summary
We are hiring a Human Resources Manager to establish and lead the HR function across all three businesses. This person will be responsible for building the department from scratch, implementing systems and structure, ensuring compliance, and supporting all people-related operations.

Key Responsibilities
HR Department Setup & Structure
Build and implement HR policies, systems, documentation, and SOPs
Select and implement HR tools and software
Create clear organizational charts and reporting structures across all companies
Multi-Company Oversight: Provide HR support for:
TAAC - clinical and front desk staff
CAMA - educators, students, and administrative team
CAE - event staff, temporary contractors, and vendors
Ensure brand-aligned consistency across all teams
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end hiring process for clinical, education, administrative, and event roles
Collaborate with leadership to forecast and plan staffing needs
Develop streamlined onboarding and training programs
Employee Relations & Culture
Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
Ensure all employee matters are well documented and appropriately handled
Develop performance evaluation systems and KPIs
Create a quality control system to ensure productivity, professionalism, and alignment with company standards
Compensation & Benefits
Oversee compensation planning, vacation/sick time tracking, and payroll structure
Support benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal employment laws
Maintain all personnel records, contracts, and legally required documentation
Monitor and update policies as employment law or business needs evolve
Qualifications
4-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare, education, or multi-brand environments
Proven experience building HR departments or systems from scratch
Strong knowledge of Ontario employment laws and HR best practices
Exceptional organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple teams across brands with clarity and efficiency
CHRP or CHRL designation is a strong asset
Familiarity with HRIS systems and digital onboarding tools preferred
What We Offer
