Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Mississauga (On-site)
Job Type: 13-15 months maternity leave contractWe are looking to hire a dynamic Human Resources Manager for a great client located in Mississauga. As the Human Resources Manager you will be driving and executing all aspects of human resources within the organization. You will work directly with top management to shape the company\'s HR strategy, build, and nurture a highly engaged workforce, and play a pivotal role in sustaining the company\'s growth and success. You will also provide guidance to 2 direct reports.Responsibilities:- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Spearhead the end-to-end recruitment process, attracting top-notch talent through creative sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns, managing conflicts, and implementing initiatives that boost employee morale and engagement
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, working closely with managers to set performance goals, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development
-Training and Development: Identify training needs, design, and organize development programs, workshops, and seminars that empower employees to reach their full potential
- Compensation and Benefits: Administer and enhance competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring alignment with industry standards and rewarding employees for their exceptional contributions
- Policy Development and Compliance: Create and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Safety and Wellness: Champion employee health and safety initiatives, creating a safe working environment that promotes employee well-being
- HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to measure HR effectiveness, track key performance indicators, and provide valuable reports to the management team
- Culture Building: Promote company values and culture, working collaboratively with all departments to reinforce a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Work on special projects or ad hoc tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years proven experience as an HR , and 2+ years in a managerial role with 2-4 direct reports
- CHRP/CHRL designation would be a great asset
- In-depth knowledge of HR/Employee Relations best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Must be okay managing end to end recruitment activities for Ontario
- Experience providing support to multiple job sites would be an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to HR challenges
- Occasional travel to Montreal and as needed travel to job site locations required.
