Job Description

- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to join a growing company based in the Stratford Ontario area. This position involves managing the daily operations of the HR department, overseeing a team of two direct reports, and reporting directly to the Director of HR. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing the organization\'s human resource and talent strategy, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility. \xef\xbb\xbf

Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily workflow of the HR department
- Monitor duties and tasks of the human resource team to ensure deadlines are met
- Biweekly preparation of payroll
- Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of payroll data and general ledger for accuracy and compliance
- Handle garnishment administration
- Partner with the leadership team to execute the organization\'s human resource and talent strategy
- Provide support and guidance to management and staff on complex HR issues
- Oversee the recruitment and termination process
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, proposing competitive programs
- Manage the administration of employee benefits
- Implement and oversee performance management systems.
- Provide guidance to managers in conducting performance reviews and setting development goals.
- Compile employee data for annual reviews, bonuses, benefit renewals, and government reporting
- Maintain Employee Handbooks, s, and Organizational Charts

Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field an asset
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on payroll, benefits, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Canada.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CHRP) is a plus.

What we offer:
- Salary based on experience $85,000 - $110,000
