Our client, a dynamic and growing manufacturing company located in Guelph, is seeking a skilled HR Manager to join their team. If you have over 8 years of managerial experience, a background in dealing with unions, and a passion for fostering a positive work culture, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company\'s goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance, and satisfaction.
Employee Relations:
- Manage relationships with union representatives, ensuring a collaborative and constructive environment.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues promptly and professionally.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement effective onboarding and training programs for new hires.
Policy Development:
- Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems to drive employee growth and development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Health and Safety
- Participate in the JHSC
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with unions and strong knowledge of labor relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- CHRP or CHRL

- Salary based on experience $110,000 to $120,000
