HR GENERALIST
The Dobson Group of Companies is currently seeking to recruit an HR Generalist with offices to be located in Saint John, NB.
Our group of family-owned businesses crosses multiple retail markets in the Automotive, Recreational Vehicle, Equipment Rental, and Manufactured Homes sectors. Currently we have several locations across New Brunswick.
The prospective candidate will become an integral part of our HR Department and will guide the HR initiatives for all companies in our group.
Job description and requirements:
1. Oversee all HR functions which will include but not be limited to:
• Recruitment for vacant positions
• Execute a clearly defined On-Boarding Process for all new hires.
• Communicate, and Train existing company policies.
2. Monitor the ongoing development of the following initiatives:
• Employee Portal implementation.
• Update and monitoring of Employee Benefit programs
• Review and evaluate our Performance Improvement Process.
3. Make recommendations on the following programs:
• HR management software
• Employee handbook revisions
4. Other HR initiatives to be assigned.
5. Ability to travel to our companies in the Dobson Group located in New Brunswick
Education requirements:
1. College diploma in human resources or a related field is required.
2. Bachelor's degree would be considered an asset.
3. Prior experience with HR functions like recruitment, employee records, and benefits is a plus
