We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist
to join our team in a full-time role and help us deliver expert people services within our organization. We are seeking a candidate who knows employment laws and regulations for New Brunswick, Canada. They should have experience in HR such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. What You Will Do
The role of HR Generalist is to support our Human Resources team. In this role your responsibilities will include:
Assist and advise with HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Assist in maintaining and updating HR documentation and employee handbooks.
Handle routine HR administrative tasks and provide administrative support as needed.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
Recruitment initiatives, including job postings and candidate management.
Act as a mediator in employee conflicts and address workplace issues.
Explore employee relations programs to foster a positive work environment.
Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and terminations.
Conduct internal company investigations
Offer strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.
Conduct regular audits to assess HR processes and documentation for compliance.
Explore development of HR strategies in line with organizational objectives.
The Experience, Expertise and Education We Value
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
Strong knowledge of New Brunswick HR laws and regulations
Ability to communicate with employees at all job levels
Ability to think and make sound decisions based on data and best practices
Strong in difficult conversations and conflict resolution skills
Fluency in English is required (oral/written)
Schedule flexibility - days, evenings, overnight, weekends
