The HR Generalist is responsible for managing core human resources functions within the clinic, including recruitment, employee relations, policy administration, performance management, benefits coordination, and compliance with employment legislation. This position supports day-to-day HR operations and partners with clinic leadership to ensure a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience within a specialized clinical setting. The HR Generalist will report directly to the Clinic Manager.

Foster a positive company culture aligned with organizational goals
Facilitate full-cycle recruiting, working closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and onboard talent
Champions all aspects of new hire orientation, including preparation, delivery, and follow-up
Creates and maintains employee files
Advises employees on the interpretation of ARC policies and benefit programs
Conducts exit interviews and processes offboarding paperwork
Provides a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to Supervisors and employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
Assists in the communication and upkeep of the employee handbook and contributes to policy development
Manages and monitors performance-related issues
Ensures compliance with provincial and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and updates policies and procedures when necessary
Prepare employee documentation including but not limited to employee recognition, coaching, corrective actions, offers, changes of status and termination materials
Collaborates with HR projects as assigned, such as investigations, mediations, advising training programs and facilitating leaders and employees, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field
3 - 5 years of HR experience
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to HR challenges
CPHR designation is considered a strong asset, but not required
