that provides construction, inspection, engineering, materials management and custom software and hardware to deliver innovative and data-driven corrosion management solutions. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support key HR and Recruitment initiatives across the organization.

YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Provide administrative support across a range of Human Resources functions, ensuring efficient and accurate HR operations.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering strong, positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Support recruitment initiatives by ensuring consistent representation of the Corrpro brand in collaboration with management at career fairs, industry events, and other talent engagement activities.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, and conducting reference checks.
Own the entry of the HR system records/ files process changes and ensure they are up to date and accurate. Ensure active and non-active files are maintained and significant records are entered into the database and inserted into employee files.
Collaborates with the VP, Human Resources to provide consistent employee relations advice within the guidelines of Corrpro Canada, Labour and Human Rights laws and any other applicable legislation.
Manage the tracking of internal HR programs, including, but not limited to, the Certification and Designation program and aboriginal relations programs.
Support managers and employees with Business Central and ADP requests, including timesheet support and reporting.
Be a subject matter expert and coach supervisors and employees on company policies, procedures and other training programs as needed.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including scheduling pre-employment testing, coordinating with the Safety Department, hosting a new hire orientation session, and delivering a smooth and informative onboarding experience.
Support the offboarding process ensuring departing employees complete exit interview, and when required all relevant internal stakeholders (including Finance and Payroll) are appropriately informed.
As needed, assist VP, Human Resources with administering core HR programs for the business unit in the broad categories of employee relations, engagement, talent management and performance management.
Maintain an informed and proactive posture in all matters pertaining to trends in HR policy and practice including ongoing monitoring of industry, legislative and regulatory environment and the potential impact.
Additional responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of 3 years' related Human Resources experience with knowledge of employment laws. Minimum of 3 years Recruitment experience required. Experience with an HRIS system required, ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Leadership Skills
: Position requires the individual to consistency demonstrate a high level of professionalism and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be a strong communicator that can adjust to different situations. Must be able to take initiative and function independently. Must be capable of making people management decisions.
Personal Attributes
: Experienced in handling stressful situations, multiple tasks with composure, self-motivated, focused, and works well independently while collaborating with the HR team. A positive outlook will assist with engaging your colleagues and encouraging morale.
Computer-Based
: Ability to work with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), HRIS and applicant tracking system experience required. Ability to learn new applications quickly.
