Job Description

Plas Tech Extrusions Ltd. is a custom plastic profile extrusion manufacturer in Barrie, Ontario. The organization offers group benefits that are paid for by the company, including extended health, dental and life insurance.

:

- Recruitment and selection of candidates.

- Orientation training of new employees.

- Review and update company programs and policies to ensure legislative compliance.

- Assist employees and managers with issues relating to human resources and occupational health and safety.

- Check employee hours to ensure their working hours are correct and match their scheduled hours. Ensure the employees are not working hours beyond their scheduled hours. Ensure that employees are not working unauthorized overtime.

- Review current and proposed compensation plans and evaluate plans to ensure organizational success

- Conduct monthly JHSC inspections and meetings.

- Arrange / provide employees with training required.

- Liaison with government officials and WSIB.

- Assist in administrating company's group benefit program.

- Prepare daily shift roster with shift review document

- Prepare weekly shift roster document

- Maintain employee files.

- Maintain employee uniform program.

- Assist in employee coaching and disciplinary action.

- Employee performance evaluations

- Employee progressive discipline

- Employee vacation scheduling

- Group benefits

- Complete internal risk assessments

- Complete external risk assessments

- Deal with employee conflict, complaints and concerns

- Prepare company issued memos

- Conduct inspection of security camera system daily

- Work with temporary agencies to provide staff for efficient production.

- Record keeping of meeting minutes.

- Assist in administrating company's payroll, when required.

- Any other safe duty required by Plas Tech Extrusions Ltd.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
