Our client is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join their team. As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will be part of the Management Team supporting the Production Team. The ideal candidate will have people skills and great organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Mulgrave, Nova Scotia
Pay Range: $78k to $96,700k.

Whats the Job?

• Aligning, advising, and consulting with the business group on a full range of strategic and tactical Human Resources areas including Organizational Development, Talent Management, Compensation, and employment relations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with management and employees, acting as a trusted advisor to understand operational needs and challenges.
• Drive talent strategy and performance management processes, leveraging the SuccessFactors platform for optimal results.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people managers, including coaching, counseling, and career development.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, maintain knowledge of HR disciplines, and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Whats Needed?

• Bachelors Degree in HR, Organizational Management or Business, masters preferred + CPHR Certified HR Professional Designation preferred.
• Minimum of 6-10 years\' human resources experience, preferably with specific experience in leading/advising on Organizational Development, Performance and Talent Management in Manufacturing/Operations preferred.
• Demonstrated experience, certification and/or training in Human Rights, Disability Management, Workplace Investigations - through CHPR Nova Scotia highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Canadian employment law & practices.

Skilled at solving business problems (lean/six sigma is a plus!)
