As a result of our continuing growth, Labstat has the following employment opportunity available: Senior Human Resources Business Partner We currently, we have an opening for an Senior Human Resources Business Partner in our HR division. The Senior HRBP has a key role in the management of varied projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within the organization. Specifically, collaborates with the business\'s leaders and management in developing recruitment plans, identifying training needs, and advocating for continuous learning for employees where necessary, providing coaching and mentoring support where required. Primary responsibilities of the job:

  • Consults with senior leaders and line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes HR program activity, conducts performance analyses of the programs, prepares reports and proposals from findings, and presents them to senior leaders for consideration.
  • Reviews attraction and retention of employees to determine the efficiency of the people management practices within the business and assesses employee satisfaction.
  • Provides guidance and input on business restructures, workforce planning, talent assessment, and succession planning.
  • Reviews gaps in leadership capability across departments within the business and develops action plans.
  • Reviews careers paths for the operations and develops ladders as appropriate.
  • Identifies training needs for the business and individual training and coaching needs.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
  • Analyzes and reports on KPIs and trends related to human capital in the business and uses the findings to develop strategies and solutions in partnership with Operations and the HR group.
  • Monitors and challenges existing policies and procedures in the business, constantly ensuring alignment with the business\'s values and external legislations.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues.
  • The employee shall implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and perform their duties in accordance to existing project specific requirements, current Test Methods, study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Compliance to Health & Safety policies and procedures and wear required Personal Protective equipment at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree, Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or College diploma in Human Resources Management
  • CHRL designation, an asset but not required
  • Over 8 years\' experience in Human Resource in the areas of employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, and other general areas of Human Resource
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be objective, and appropriately judge which approach to take depending on circumstances.
  • Builds relationships to facilitate a collaborative working practice.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while staying calm, and inspiring the same in the team.
  • Service oriented and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
