About the Team:
SSENSE is looking for a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its team of HR professionals to provide coaching and support to our Corporate Functions. You will act as a collaborative partner to enable our people resulting in long-term business success in areas including talent, engagement, change management, and compliance. This role partners with business leaders on overall strategic direction and will support the advancement of organizational goals and values. As the role is hybrid, you should be located in the Greater Montreal area and be available to come to headquarters 1 day per week and as needed.   • You will provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions
  • In collaboration with Centres of Excellence, support the development of Talent Programs (Compensation & Benefits, Talent Attraction, Talent Management, etc.) in order to support the needs of the department.
  • Advise people managers on engagement programs, understanding their needs/issues/concerns and proactively lead and coordinate the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions. Maintain visibility and a scalable pulse on the Voice of the Employee.
  • As a people advisor, understand stakeholders and interdependencies, impacts of change initiatives, identify champions and resistors and formulate recommendations, appropriate workshops and communications to support change adoption.
  • Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization\'s policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, ensuring organizational standards are consistently maintained


Qualifications
How To Excel In This Role:
  • Holding a Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or related field, CHRP or CHRL certification is an asset
  • A minimum of three years of human resources partnership or advisory experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation and labour standards
  • Advanced knowledge of HR related practices, such as Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, etc.
  • You must be bilingual by having a strong knowledge of the English AND French languages in both written and spoken as the role will be supporting our employees across North America and in Quebec where French is the official language.
