Syngenta is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team and help shape the future of agriculture. This individual will play a pivotal role in providing HR expertise, challenging the status quo, leading change initiatives, and implementing best practices to establish Syngenta as an employer of choice.

We have a Hybrid Work Location approach and this role can be based in Calgary, AB, or the surrounding area.

Duties:

• Foster an HR culture that supports these strategies.
• Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders teams to design and implement people strategies that enhance organizational capability and drive business goals.
• Change Management: Develop change management skills within the team to support stakeholders development, business transformation, and culture evolution.
• Embed robust people management practices in the region, covering talent management, development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead people analytics for region to drive recommendations and decision making and identify opportunities for change.
• HR Programs & Policies: Research, identify and recommend progressive programs/policies regionally to enhance employee engagement and people first culture initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree or higher in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Progressive Human Resource experience in a large, complex organization.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate employee relations, including complex issues and coaching at various organizational levels.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in people and data metrics.
• Social media proficiency, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn.

Preferred:

• Masters degree and/or CHRL certification.
• Involvement in strategic planning processes.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences.
