Job Description

Carson Automotive Group is seeking a full time Human Resources Assistant to join our dedicated team of HR and Payroll professionals in Victoria BC. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of Human Resources for multiple automotive dealerships in the Victoria and Vancouver area.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and be capable of handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

What You'll Assist with:

Processing full cycle employee tasks (hire to retire) Onboarding including completing new employee documentation and set-ups Recruitment and Job postings Daily HR and Administrative tasks Preparing monthly, annual, and on demand reports Maintaining accurate employee records Benefit administration, WorkSafe BC Claims, and Health & Safety administration

What We're Looking For:

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information Experience HR preferred Familiarity with HR and Payroll software (i.e, ADP) and strong MS Office skills Ability to multitask while prioritizing time sensitive information Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus, but not required
