Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), with accountability to the CCTG Director for Faculty staffing, the Human Resources and Staffing Operations Leader will lead the Human Resources and Staffing functions at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG). The Leader is responsible for a range of Human Resources and Staffing activities in support of the administration and operation of the CCTG and works in accordance with university policy and legislative requirements. The incumbent contributes to strategic directions and annual operating planning, supports employee labour relations matters, as well as employee wellness and associated initiatives within the Group.
The incumbent works closely with the CCTG Director, and Queen's University Central HR and Faculty of Health Science Staffing Office, to oversee and support all aspects of the academic faculty employee lifecycle within CCTG. The incumbent provides support to the Director on current procedures and expectations and Human Resources policies.
