The Human Resource Generalist assists in all day-to-day activities of the HR/Payroll department providing support to the Director of HR and the HR Business Partner in order to maintain efficient departmental processes and provide accurate and necessary communication to all employees.
Main Responsibilities
Respond to all benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquires in order to communicate necessary information to all employees.
Distribute all benefit enrollment materials and determine eligibility for new hires to ensure accuracy of benefit/employee data and each employee is set up correctly with benefits.
Execute the organizations HR initiatives, providing exceptional customer service and driving process improvements to assist in establishing efficient HR/Payroll processes
Provide HR with requested reports for month end and other reports as required to provide statistical information to management
Maintain employee personnel records to ensure payroll/benefit information is accurate and up to date.
Gathering and auditing timekeeping data in order to track the history of all payroll related entries.
Inputting new hires, leaves, terminations and adjustments with benefits provider.
Process and send out achievement awards to employees and their managers in order to maintain our service awards program.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
Requirements:
Minimum 3-4 years' experience as an H.R. Generalist
