Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team on-site in Brantford. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across a wide range of HR functions and is excited to contribute to the development of HR practices at ANC!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations
Support recruitment by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications
Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS systems
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
Partner with leadership on organization development and change management initiatives
Reporting and maintaining records with WSIB
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a HR role
Solid understanding of HR principles, labour laws, and best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High level of discretion when handling confidential information
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
