Position Summary:



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Human Resource Generalist

to join our team in

Laval, QC

. In this role, you will support HR functions for both our

Canadian and U.S. operations

, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and HR best practices across both regions. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your HR career within a collaborative and cross-border environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:



Use HR software to manage payroll, employee benefits and time management.

Organize hard and soft copies of employee records.

Provide day-to-day HR support for employees in both Canada and the US.

Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations.

Administer and develop HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

Assist with benefits administration and payroll coordination in both countries.

Support compliance with employment standards and workplace regulations in both countries.

Participate in HR projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Employee relations and conflict resolution.

ecruitment and hiring.



Policy enforcement and compliance.



Training and development.



Job description maintenance.

xit interviews and retention.



Operational HR support.



Assist in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processes. Review and select resumes. during hiring processes, update database.

Work and communicate with Canadian and American Immigration Lawyers vis a vis nonimmigrant visa processing.



Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in human resources management.

Minimum 3 years+ of experience working within the Human Resources field.

Knowledge and experience are preferred in USA HR practices.

Proficiency and Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French spoken and written.

The ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Capacity to apply and handle with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to support employees and resolve conflicts and HR-related issues effectively.

Experience in developing and enforcing company HR policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Experience with hiring and recruiting processes, including reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining applicant databases.

Experience in onboarding strategies and deliver engaging orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth integration experience.

Experience in maintaining and updating job descriptions and job requirements in alignment with HR objectives and organizational needs.

Experience in conducting exit interviews, analyzing feedback, and providing actionable recommendations to improve retention and employee satisfaction.

Demonstrates ability to contribute to business operations and support the achievement of organizational goals through strategic HR initiatives.

Participate with and collaborate with concerned dept to develop efficient employees training and development programs

Experience in Canadian and USA immigration and nonimmigrant visa processes.

Nous recherchons un(e) generaliste en ressources humaines dynamique et experimente(e) pour rejoindre notre equipe a Laval, QC. Dans ce role, vous soutiendrez les fonctions RH pour nos operations au Canada et aux Etats-Unis, en veillant au respect des lois et des meilleures pratiques RH dans les deux pays. Il s'agit d'une excellente occasion de faire progresser votre carriere en RH dans un environnement collaboratif et transfrontalier.

Responsabilites et taches :



Utiliser un logiciel RH pour gerer la paie, les avantages sociaux et la gestion du temps. Organiser les dossiers des employes en format papier et electronique. Fournir un soutien RH quotidien aux employes au Canada et aux Etats-Unis. Maintenir a jour les dossiers des employes et les donnees du SIRH. Traiter la documentation et preparer des rapports lies aux evaluations de performance. Administrer et developper les politiques, procedures et programmes RH. Soutenir les processus de recrutement, d'integration et de depart. Participer a l'administration des avantages sociaux et a la coordination de la paie dans les deux pays. Assurer la conformite avec les normes d'emploi et les reglementations en milieu de travail dans les deux pays. Participer a des projets RH, audits et initiatives d'amelioration continue. Gerer les relations avec les employes et la resolution de conflits. Mener des processus de recrutement et d'embauche. Appliquer et faire respecter les politiques de l'entreprise. Participer a la formation et au developpement du personnel. Maintenir a jour les descriptions de poste. Realiser des entrevues de depart et contribuer a la retention du personnel. Fournir un soutien operationnel RH. Coordonner les processus de recrutement et de dotation : examiner et selectionner les CV, mettre a jour la base de donnees des candidats. Collaborer avec les avocats en immigration canadiens et americains pour le traitement des visas non-immigrants.

Qualifications et competences :



Baccalaureat en gestion des ressources humaines. Minimum 3 ans d'experience dans le domaine des ressources humaines. Connaissance et experience souhaitees en pratiques RH americaines. Excellentes competences en communication et relations interpersonnelles, en anglais et en francais, a l'oral comme a l'ecrit. Capacite a developper et gerer des relations interpersonnelles a tous les niveaux de l'entreprise. Discretion et haut niveau de confidentialite dans la gestion d'informations sensibles. Maitrise des systemes SIRH et de la suite MS Office.

Competences recherchees :



Solides competences en resolution de problemes et en gestion efficace des conflits et enjeux RH. Experience dans le developpement et l'application des politiques et procedures RH, ainsi que des reglements de securite. Experience en recrutement : analyse de CV, coordination d'entrevues, gestion de bases de donnees de candidats. Experience dans l'integration des nouveaux employes et l'animation de sessions d'accueil engageantes. Experience dans la mise a jour des descriptions de poste et exigences selon les besoins organisationnels. Experience en entrevues de depart, analyse des commentaires et recommandations pour ameliorer la retention et la satisfaction du personnel. Capacite a contribuer aux operations de l'entreprise et aux objectifs organisationnels via des initiatives RH strategiques. Participation a l'elaboration de programmes de formation et developpement du personnel en collaboration avec les departements concernes. Connaissance des processus d'immigration canadienne et americaine, ainsi que des visas non-immigrants.
