Reporting to the Team Leader, Human Resources Operations, the Human Resource Coordinator will support overseeing and performing daily human resource functions, case management, as well as managing human resources advisory projects, implementing, and maintaining a master schedule and ensure BI methodologies are applied as appropriate.
People Experience is a human resource function that provides alignment and support to the Rio Tinto Group. The team is responsible for recruitment, benefits, compensation, and capability development services.
This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has a strong work ethic and who enjoys working in a team environment while working a two (2) weeks on / two (2) weeks off rotation, the successful candidate will:
Establishing and build key relationships with leaders and employees.
Implementing human resources service and support by coordinating and delivering the required human resources generalist activities in order to meet objectives aligned to Diavik\xe2\x80\x99s Human Resources Plans.
Providing specialist, generalist, operational and tactical human resources support to Human Resources team, line managers and all employees within diverse client base.
Supporting Human Resources Team Lead in deployment of projects, interventions, and recurring annual activities such as salary review, talent review and change management.
Supporting the Human Resources Team Lead with coordination and execution of special projects and other initiatives (employee engagement, performance and capability improvement).
Mange human resources transactions (confirmation of employment, employee queries and benefit information).
Developing service line improvements & efficiencies including identifying waste activities and develop action plans and initiatives to remove.
Any other activities as required by the Business needs.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Bachelor degree in HR or other relevant field.
3-5 years of solid HR generalist experience or a combination of Human Resource Generalist and Human Resource specialist experience is required.
Track record of HR project delivery, commitment to service excellence and excellent customer relationships.
Employee Relations / case management skills.
Project management/business improvement skills.
Human Resource relationship management experience.
Experience working with multiple clients at all organization levels.
