We believe in your dreams, and we have the platform for you to make it happen.Job briefWe are looking for an HR Recruiter (Volunteer) to manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates for a period of 3 months.If you are a University or college student in Human Resources or have HR related experience we'd like to meet you.Ultimately, you will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.The HR /Recruiter (Volunteer) reports to the HR Coordinator.Commitment Required: 15 hours per week in a hybrid role. (Working in the office and from home) For a period of at least 3 months or longer.You will support the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions involved with Latincouver.Responsibilities:

• Design and update job descriptions

• Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms like LinkedIn)

• Post job openings onto websites, Screen resumes and application forms

• Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers

• Assist in interviewing candidates (via phone, video and in-person)

• Assist with the on-boarding and training process

• Manage HR data, reports, and documents

• Help in creating presentations and spreadsheets when necessary

• Possible presentations in schools and universities on volunteering opportunities in Latincouver

• Communicate with post-secondary schools and other non-profit associations to build our volunteer database and community outreach.

• Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs

• Assist in other related activities as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 days per week for at least 3 months. 15 Hours per week.

• University or college student in Human Resources, Business or a related field.

• Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills

• Proactive and positive attitude with high levels of energy

• Computer literacy including proficiency of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint

• Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Experience using Google platform (Gmail/Google Drive/Google Calendar, etc.)

• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
