Required Immediately!- The HR Recruiter will work closely with the operations management and supervisors providing sound and consistent guidance. In this role you will be exposed to various aspects of recruitment, training and development of employees and human resources. Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

• Develop job postings and maintain online advertisements
• Pre-screen applicants for interviews, conduct first round interviews and reference checks
• Recruiting and On-boarding
• Create and maintain job descriptions and support performance reviews
• Advice and guidance to all levels of management in the areas of grievances, performance, policy and procedural matters and employment contracts
• Ensuring compliance with relevant labour and employment standards legislation
• Claims/Disability Management support
• Support and develop policies and procedures to support the company and its employees

Qualifications and Requirements:

• MUST be local to the Fort St John area

• A minimum of 3 years Recruitment and Human Resource experience in the oilfield industry, is required although an equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
• You are able to work as a team player and can provide leadership and guidance in non-reporting relationships.
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Initiative and strong team dynamics
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
