You could work with this company in the Richmond Hill, Ontario area on a long-term contract / temporary basis as their HR Recruiter! Grow your skills as a Human Resources Recruiter in this skill-sharpening role. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Sourcing colleagues to ensure cost efficiency and work with cross-functional teams through sourcing initiatives.
- Leading cross-functional teams through sourcing initiatives: create and execute sourcing strategy, direct negotiations with vendors, planning - Leading commercial negotiations and finalizing contracts for execution (with help from our Contract Management team, as necessary)
- Benchmarking and identifying key industry trends, which impact the and/or other products/services as assigned.
- Support the identification of post-merger vendor contract and synergies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and Knowledge:
- Sourcing experience (Category Management, Strategic Sourcing etc.)
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to review and analyse contract commercial terms, pricing, etc.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and Getting Stuff Done (GSD)
- Leadership, communication, planning and organization skills
- PC skills (Good Excel skills, knowledge of SAP or similar workflow systems, MS Office)

Academic/Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of Sourcing and Category Management experience, previous program or project management experience as well as strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce, MBA, LLB, Engineering or Supply Chain management preferred
- Professional designation in Supply Chain Management an asset (PMAC SCMP / CPP, ISM or equivalent)
- Global mindset required, global experience preferred
