• Assist in the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions.
• Developing strong relationships with the various hiring managers to fully grasp and understand the requirements of all hires.
• Utilize job boards to identify top talent and build a strong candidate pool.
• Thoroughly evaluate all resumes received and shortlist qualified candidates for the interview process.
• Conducting first-round screenings of candidates over the phone or via video conferencing and providing detailed recommendations to the appropriate hiring managers.
• Ability to produce quality results while working under minimal supervision
• Passionate about talent acquisition and up-to-date on industry best practices, thinking innovatively for talent attraction strategies.
• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure that all candidates are set up for success.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $60,000.00 per year Benefits:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
• Recruiting: 2 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (preferred)
