Job Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in the non-profit sector, based in Brampton, Ontario. This role involves supporting our recruitment efforts as we expand our programming supports.Responsibilities:

• Full cycle recruitment process management.
• Preparing and updating job descriptions and vacancy postings.
• Drafting employment agreements.
• Administering salaries.
• Utilizing job boards for proactive candidate search and selection of appropriate job boards.
• Preparation and presentation of recruitment related reports.
• Communication related to recruitment activities.
• Involvement in organizational projects and initiatives from a recruitment perspective.
• Handling of ad hoc recruitment related tasks.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience as an HR Recruiter in the non-profit sector
• Proficiency in Full Cycle Recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Knowledge of labor legislation relevant to the non-profit sector
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Commitment to promoting diversity and equal employment opportunities
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel as needed for recruitment events and meetings
• Certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
