Part-Time HR & Payroll Coordinator

What You'll Do:
This position plays a key role in supporting our HR operations, managing payroll, and helping maintain a positive, efficient workplace. You'll collaborate directly with management and team leads to ensure our employees are supported, records are accurate, and processes run seamlessly across our branches.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Human Resources & Administration:
Support the recruitment process (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, onboarding new hires)
Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
Track vacation, benefits, and attendance
Help coordinate training, policy updates, and internal communications
Be a trusted point of contact for employee questions and HR-related inquiries
Payroll & Compliance:
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with employment standards and payroll regulations
Prepare reports and maintain accurate payroll data
Coordinate with accounting for payroll summaries and adjustments
What You Bring to the Table:
2+ years of experience in HR or payroll
Strong understanding of Ontario employment standards
Experience with payroll software (ADP, Ceridian, or similar)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
