About the Role

Location: 36 Ave & 8th St, Nisku

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Pay: $23.25 / hour

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Operations Administrator plays a key role in building a culture of connection at HelloFresh. You will be an important part of the HR team working closely with operations managers and the HR team to assist in running day-to-day operations and our team members to feel supported.

(3 month contract, with the possibility of expanded or permanent placement)

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for office administration tasks including ordering office supplies, managing kitchen supplies and maintaining vendor management relationships
  • Provides day to day support for HR team including administration of jacket, locker, safety shoe, access cards and donation policies and procedures as needed
  • Supports the DC in establishing a positive and engaging workplace culture by taking the lead on engagement activities and leading the social committee.
  • Supports HR by acting as a first point of contact for Hourly employees and actively participating in conversations on production floor
  • Maintains communications channels including updating TV Screens, posters and bulletin boards throughout the facility
  • Provides day to day support for operations including data entry for all departments as needed
  • Supports the administration and planning for Time Management and Scheduling
  • Responsible for Agency employee orientation and coordinate trainings with Operations team
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and special projects to drive efficiencies and optimization within the HR team and DC operations
  • Other duties as assigned
At a minimum, you have:
  • Post-secondary education in Arts or Business
  • Excellent customer service and enthusiasm for connecting with employees including the ability to explain systems, processes and bridge communication gaps
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, especially as it relates to sensitive employee information
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, plus excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced ever-changing work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening and proofreading
  • Experience planning and organizing social events
  • Ability to demonstrate good, sound judgment and work independently with minimum direction or supervision
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet)
