HR Onboarding Specialist



Position Summary



Right Traffic is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Onboarding Specialist to support the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth start for all employees by managing background check completion, Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), system access, and personnel data entry. The ideal candidate is process-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering a positive first impression of our organization.

Key Responsibilities



New Hire Processing



Enter new hire information into HRIS and internal systems with accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure all required documentation is collected, verified, and stored according to company policy and compliance standards.

Coordinate and track completion of pre-employment screenings, including background checks and MVRs.

Communicate clearly with candidates to gather missing information or documents.

Access & Credential Management



Create employee system logins, email accounts, and PINs for relevant platforms.

Maintain records of system credentials and ensure proper security protocols are followed.

Coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure timely and appropriate system access for each role.

Compliance & Documentation



Ensure onboarding processes meet legal and internal compliance requirements.

Monitor MVR results and escalate any discrepancies or concerns to the HR Manager.

Maintain confidential records in compliance with Canadian and US regulations.

Support & Communication



Serve as a point of contact for onboarding-related questions from new hires.

Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience across departments.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize onboarding processes and tools.

Qualifications



1-2 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or a similar administrative role preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with background screening and MVR processes is a plus

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills



Experience with onboarding tools or platforms (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, or similar)

Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
