At our Cascades facilities in Ashland, Virginia you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Tissue Group of our team as the Human Resource Manager:RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Superior operational abilities in a manufacturing environment with extensive knowledge of the various aspects of human resources and regulatory compliance: compensation and benefits management, health management, talent management, leave administration etc.
  • Lead the attract and retain objectives and the monthly, quarterly, and annual Cascades HR initiatives.
  • Provide performance management and workforce development coaching and consulting to the operations and administrative leadership team.
  • Facilitate report out of HR analytics, monthly HR & company initiatives, and announcements.
  • Represent Cascades Containerboard & Packaging at community and corporate events and meetings. Some travel to Canada will be required.
  • Promote change initiatives through proactive communication and relationship building.
  • Introduce and support continuous improvement concepts while providing the guidance and oversite to reach intended objectives.

  • Human Resource leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communications skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions and change.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
  • 3+ years\' experience of related professional human resource leadership experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance in the US and the State of Virginia.
