Overview:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy

HRIS lead

with a sound understanding of Canadian payroll administration to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who has transitioned from payroll operations into HR systems management.

Key Responsibilities:



Core HRIS Management:



Maintain, configure, and optimize the core HRIS (e.g., ideally Dayforce but could have experience in: Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle, SAP, BambooHR, etc.) Serve as a subject matter expert on system capabilities, workflows, and integrations Support data integrity by managing system audits, data uploads, and troubleshooting issues Develop and deliver HRIS reports and dashboards for stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance (Payroll) IT) on system enhancements and new implementations Train HR team members and end-users on HRIS functionality and best practices

Payroll Support (as needed):



Pull various reports from HRIS and Payroll to provide in depth analysis and insights on the organizations people strategy. Assist with payroll system integration and data flow to/from HRIS Stay current on payroll regulations and compliance) Support payroll team processes as requested

Qualifications:



3-5+ years of experience in HRIS administration and/or HR technology roles 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or payroll operations Hands-on experience with one or more major HRIS platforms Familiarity with payroll systems and their relationship with HRIS data Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills; comfort with reporting and data visualization tools Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field Certifications in HRIS or Payroll Experience with system migrations, implementations, or upgrades
