Position:
Generalist, Human Resources Reporting to: Manager, Human Resources
About You:

  • Confident HR professional (CHRP preferred)
  • Background in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and systems
  • Compassionate, strategic, and a positive team player

Your Impact: As our HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in managing daily HR operations, making substantial contributions to the development and implementation of HR fundamentals, and fostering a culture conducive to a psychologically safe workplace.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operationalize HR vision and department plans
  • Implement, maintain, and update essential HR policies and programs
  • Continuously improve HR systems and administration
  • Identify skills gaps and create employee training and development programs
  • Oversee HRIS and systems administration
  • Participate in HR strategic planning and execution
  • Contribute to resolving sensitive personnel issues
  • Oversee HR administration and data security
  • Develop and manage engaging internal communication strategies (i.e. employee self-service hub)
  • Oversee smooth onboarding, offboarding, and enhance the overall employee journey
  • Foster equitable and inclusive employment practices through collaborative efforts

Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • CHRP preferred, with relevant education
  • Proven background in HR within diverse and dynamic environments
  • Experience with benefits administration and payroll preferred
  • Compassionate, strategic, and positive mindset
  • Keen attention to detail and strong writing ability
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Proactiveness and a "get stuff done" mentality
  • Growth mindset
  • Experience in HRIS administration and implementation
