Hatfield is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in North Vancouver, BC. Reporting to our Leader of People and Culture, this position will play a key role in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs including employee relations, compensation planning, systems support, performance management and policy development. The Senior HR Generalist will collaborate with our leadership team to foster a positive work environment and support the growth and development of our employees.
Responsibilities:
Act as a caring and trusted advisor to employees and management while providing guidance on people related issues, policies and procedures, and employee programs.
Promote a positive workplace culture and ensure a respectful and inclusive environment for all employees.
Stay updated on federal and provincial (AB, BC) employment laws and regulations and make recommendations to leadership as needed.
Take the lead on fully utilizing Dayforce and its capabilities. Identify and recommend system process improvements.
Provide metrics and KPIs, using Dayforce and other inputs to help facilitate data driven decision making.
Provide support on the employee performance review process, including the implementation and roll out of a new system.
Help create best in class HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Support the annual compensation processes including survey participation, compensation module updates, and assist with job classification.
Contribute your expertise and passion to various ad-hoc projects.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
CPHR designation is highly desirable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, in particular MS Word, Excel Outlook, and SharePoint.
Experience with Dayforce is highly beneficial, including configuration, implementation, and report generation.
Compensation experience highly desirable, including survey participation.
