Our downtown medical client is looking for a Human Resource Generalist for a four-month contract. In this role you will support a wide range of HR activities in a multi-site organization.
The HR Generalist's duties include:
Providing guidance to internal stakeholders on Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations
Administering employee health benefits plan and communicate information to employees
Updating the HRIS system for accuracy and completeness and maintaining employee count
Conduct on-site regular touchpoints at company clinics
Managing leave of absences and disability management
Performing, onboarding and offboarding tasks; monitoring orientation programs
Address and providing resolutions for employee relations issues
Handling recognition and incentive programs, ensuring consistent administration
Manage a full-cycle recruitment desk, including strategy, sourcing, budget monitoring, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and candidate presentations.
Monitor wage practices to ensure fairness, consistency, and equity; overseeing performance reviews, promotions, and wage increases.
Maintain accurate job descriptions and posters.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Post secondary education and training in Human Resources
Experience in a health clinic a strong asset
Proven knowledge in handling diverse HR functions
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
French/English bilingualism
Ability to travel to sites in Ottawa and Quebec
