Role overview



The

People & Culture Generalist

will provide support and delivery of best practices and solutions pertaining to attracting, retaining, and inspiring employees. This role plays a key part in shaping the employee experience, representing the company's culture, and ensuring a smooth and positive recruitment and onboarding journey as well as support for employees on their career journey at Carlsberg.

What you'll be doing



Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating assessments, and facilitating offers. Lead employer branding initiatives in line with Carlsberg global strategies and Canada needs. Participate as an active member of Carlsberg's global working group focused on Employer Branding, EVP, and Talent Acquisition. Coordinate and lead new employee orientation to ensure a welcoming and informative first-day experience. Develop and oversee onboarding plans with People & Culture Business Partners that support new hires in integrating smoothly into their roles, teams, and the company culture. Lead our annual Engagement survey process and other specific initiatives to support engagement and retention. STD & WSIB claims and return-to-work management. Participate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives. Prepare reports and analysis of key HR metrics. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Positive, solutions-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and basic dashboard creation.

Qualifications:



Post-secondary education in Human Resources. 2-5 years related experience or equivalent combined education and experience. Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, interview methods, and employment laws. CHRP designation an asset. Proficient with MS Office software.
