We're hiring a Human Resources Generalist to join our People & Culture team. This is a broad, hands-on role supporting the full employee experience, including recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, benefits, and staff support. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes initiative, and brings strong attention to detail.
What You'll Do
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, interviews, contracts, orientation, and system setup
Respond to employee inquiries and support day-to-day HR processes
Assist with employee relations and performance management administration as needed
Maintain accurate employee records, job descriptions, and documentation in ADP
Work with payroll on staffing changes, compensation updates, and data accuracy
Administer benefits and track certifications, CRCs, and intervention checks
Support health & safety documentation, WCB, and modified work processes
Coordinate student practicums and placements with post-secondary partners
Plan staff recognition and milestone celebrations
Assist with HR reporting, surveys, training initiatives, and special projects
Contribute to data clean-up, process improvement, and system enhancements
Passion for our mission and participation in special events
What You Bring
3-5 years of experience in human resources
HR certificate or diploma preferred
Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation
Strong organizational, attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to stay calm, flexible, and proactive in a busy environment
Experience with ADP or another HRIS is an asset
High level of discretion and professionalism
Location & Schedule
Based at our North location (808 55 Ave NE, Calgary),
relocating to our brand-new Sunridge facility for the upcoming school year
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Hybrid work model: in-office with the option to work from home 1 day per week
