HR Generalist (Health and Safety Focus) As the Human Resources Generalist, you will assist with the day-to-day human resource activities at ClubLink. You will provide guidance and assistance to employees and management on relevant human resource issues. Duties will primarily focus on general health and safety, at times may assist with all department areas such as employee relations, training and development, recruitment as well as ensuring ClubLink\xe2\x80\x99s compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and operating procedures. Health and Safety Responsibilities and Duties: Participate in investigation and case management of workplace injury and incidents, including WSIB/CNESST claim management. Assist in coordinating the company\xe2\x80\x99s health and safety activities and requirements. Implement policies, procedures, programs to comply with regulatory health and safety requirements. Assist with auditing processes, and in implementing effective health and safety solutions. Travel to ClubLink properties to perform periodic audits and training, to ensure and enforce health and safety regulations/requirements. Prepare periodic health and safety reports, statistics. Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings to identify and address hazards, conduct inspections and make recommendations to management. Communicate with external health and safety providers re training services, equipment, PPEs. Specific Accountabilities: Receive and provide feedback on queries from employees about HR policies and procedures for resolution. Coordinate training for employees, whether via workshops or on-line and monitor compliance as required. Help maintain proper employee files and records as needed. Work with other department personnel on the preparation and deployment of effective communications about HR and/or company related matters. Act as an advisor and coach to managers on employee relations issues, researching issues and providing guidance on effective issue management strategies. Support recruitment and employee onboarding. Spearhead HR projects as required. Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Completion of a college/university degree in a related discipline. Completion of or working toward CHRP designation is considered an asset. 1-2 years of previous related experience. Knowledge of WSIB is an asset. Strong organizational, planning, and self-management skills. The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral).
