Job Description

We are offering an opportunity for a JR Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry based in Markham, Ontario. This role involves overseeing all human resources operations to ensure they align with our business goals. You will communicate with various levels of management to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and our company culture.Responsibilities:

• Provide daily HR guidance to line management

• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

• Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning

• Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances

• Evaluate training programs and identify training needs for teams and individuals

• Maintain internal communications, including interviewing and onboarding processes

• Administer benefits, including coordination and administration of worker\'s compensation

• Maintain personnel files and ensure adherence to policies and procedures

• Consult on organizational changes and suggest new HR strategies

• Maintain an active role in recruiting efforts and personnel file maintenance.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within a Manufacturing organization an asset

• Demonstrated experience in Benefits Administration and Benefits Coordination

• Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Excellent Internal Communication skills

• Experience in conducting Interviews and managing the Onboarding process

• Familiarity with Personnel File Maintenance

• Understanding of HR Policies & Procedures

• Proven track record in Recruiting

• Knowledge of Workers Compensation procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
