HR GeneralistJob Function
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. This individual will assist in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and the overall well-being of our workforce.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure job descriptions are accurate and up to date.
Participate in career fairs or other recruitment events as needed.
Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions.
Process paperwork for employee terminations, conduct exit interviews, and ensure smooth offboarding procedures.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and appropriate assistance or escalating issues as necessary.
Support the resolution of employee relations issues by conducting investigations, documenting findings, and recommending solutions in alignment with company policies and regulations.
Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve issues and answer questions regarding benefits coverage.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related paperwork.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Generate reports and provide data analysis as needed.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, compliance audits, and employee engagement programs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
1+ years of experience in Human Resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
Ability to develop positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to use consensus-building methods to improve overall communication.
High level of integrity and ethical behavior to promote a positive working environment.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.).
Workday experience.
