Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the HR Generalist is responsible for providing a variety of HR services to all departments. This position is a 12-month contract for parental leave coverage.

Responsibilities:

Provide HR services to department managers / supervisors, including employee relations, coaching, training, and investigations Lead and participate in full-cycle recruitment activities in a growth environment Participate in the development and achievement of HR objectives Recommend and implement HR policies, programs and best practices Support the creation/maintenance of documents and databases

Skills and Knowledge:

Minimum 3 years' in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting Graduate of post-secondary HR program Strong knowledge of HR best practices, methods and legislation Intermediate English (verbal and written) Previous knowledge of Gmail and Google Documents Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of EI and professionalism
