Our

Human Resources Coordinator

is a key member of our Talent Team and supports a variety of HR processes including our offer and onboarding/offboarding processes, organizational announcements and employee records. If you're a team player, process oriented and demonstrate superior attention to detail, we want to hear from you!



We're looking for an

HR Coordinator, Talent

to join our head office located in

Vernon, British Columbia

. Our head office houses Tolko's corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.



Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Post-secondary education

in business administration, with a focus in HR or a related field.

1-2 years' experience

in HR.

Knowledge and experience using

Human Resources Information System (HRIS) systems

; preference given to candidates with experience using UKG Pro (formerly known as UltiPro). Exceptional

organizational and time management skills

Proven ability to

manage timelines

and to

multitask

. Meticulous

attention to detail

and a passion for process. Excellent

interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

. Demonstrated

commitment to maintaining confidentiality

. Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working towards a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is considered an asset.

In this role, you will:


Collaborate with our Recruiters and Total Rewards team to

draft offer letters and maintain employee records.

Manage

new hire processing

in our HRIS, ensuring timely and accurate updates. Support our

new hire and exit survey processes.

Manage

Tolko's High School Scholarship

and

Career Achievement

programs. Manage our HR Inbox, Announcements page and

support communications processes

.

Update and maintain our Talent team website

. Conduct

work permit reviews

and documentation with the support of our local HR Business Partners. Act as a

backup for other Talent team members

.

$65,250 to $87,000

per year.
