About the Role





As Amii's HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and seamless employee experience at one of Canada's leading AI institutes. Reporting to the VP, People & Culture, you'll provide vital support during an exciting period of rapid growth and transformation as we implement a new HRIS system and advance strategic initiatives that shape the future of our workplace.



Your work will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while enabling the People & Culture team to focus on big-picture priorities like employee engagement, compensation benchmarking, and organizational planning.

Key Responsibilities





In this role, you'll focus on four main areas:


Recruitment & Onboarding - Coordinating full-cycle recruitment logistics and delivering a welcoming onboarding experience. Employee Lifecycle Administration - Managing employee data, benefits, and offboarding with accuracy and care. HRIS & Project Support - Contributing to the successful implementation of our new HRIS system and other key People & Culture projects. General HR Administration - Providing responsive and consistent support across HR operations, communications, and reporting.



Required Skills / Expertise




Areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this position




Certificate or diploma in Human Resources and/or Administration At least one-year of experience in an HR, recruitment, or administrative support role. Experience coordinating recruitment processes and onboarding programs. Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems; experience supporting implementations is an asset. Exposure to benefits administration and employee lifecycle processes. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is an asset.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Comfortable learning new systems and tools quickly. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Collaborative team player who also works effectively with minimal supervision.
