Maple Tree Consulting and Support Services works closely with Children's Services and Collaborative Service Delivery (CSD) agencies throughout the Edmonton area to provide meaningful support to children, youth, and families. Our programs include Group Care, Family Time, Urgent Support, Youth Work, and Home Assessment Reports.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
HR Coordinator
with a
strong focus on recruitment

Position Overview
The
HR Coordinator
will play a key role in supporting our
recruitment efforts
, primarily for Children's Services and Healthcare-related positions. This role will also provide general HR and administrative support across departments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys connecting with people, is passionate about finding great talent, and is eager to grow their HR career.
This
hybrid position
offers a mix of primarily onsite work with remote opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Support full-cycle recruitment, including:
Posting job ads on various platforms
Screening resumes and shortlisting candidates
Conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews
Coordinating reference checks and other pre-employment requirements
Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth start for all team members.
Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment reports.
Support general HR functions, including:
Updating employee records and files
Assisting with policy and procedure updates
Preparing HR documents as required
Provide administrative support to the HR team and other departments.
Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in
Human Resources
, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently completing).
Strong interest in
recruitment and talent acquisition
.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
Asset skills (not required):
Previous recruitment or HR experience
Knowledge of Children's Services or Healthcare sectors
Familiarity with LMS systems
Requirements
