Our client, a leading food manufacturing company based in Mississauga, is searching for a skilled HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their Human Resources team. This role is crucial in supporting our HR Director by taking charge of day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of operational excellence, strategic insight, and a hands-on approach to manage HR functions, ensuring the development and implementation of effective HR strategies and practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support and Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the Plant Manager, Maintenance Managers, QA Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Production Supervisors to support daily operations. Assist the HR Director in executing strategic HR initiatives effectively.
- Managerial and Employee Support: Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, addressing queries and concerns efficiently, thereby improving management practices and employee satisfaction.
- HR Systems and Processes Management: Oversee the utilization and optimization of HR systems (e.g., BambooHR), ensuring processes are efficient and up-to-date. Assign and coordinate tasks with the HR Coordinator for system maintenance.
- Talent Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development efforts to attract, retain, and develop talent. Ensure effective talent management practices are in place.
- Employee Engagement and Development: Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, development, and succession planning. Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on these initiatives.
- Strategic HR Projects: Conduct research and execute strategic HR projects, including health and safety, training and development, performance management, and onboarding, as directed by the HR Director.Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and legal regulations in Ontario.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff.
- Proficiency in HR systems (experience with BambooHR is an advantage) and Microsoft Excel for HR metrics and data analysis.
- Ability to provide both operational support and strategic insights for HR initiatives.
