Human Resources Associate
. The Human Resources Associate supports day-to-day HR operations and contributes to the effective delivery of HR programs across the organization. With approximately two years of professional experience and an active CHRP designation, the HR Associate plays a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. What You'll Do
Recruitment & Onboarding
Support full-cycle recruitment including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer preparation.
Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and integration activities.
Maintain talent pipelines and support employer branding initiatives.
Employee Relations & Support
Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes.
Support the HR Manager with employee relations investigations, documentation, and follow-up.
Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS; update personnel changes, contracts, and organizational charts.
Ensure compliance with employment standards, legislative requirements, and internal HR policies.
Assist in administering benefits, leaves, attendance tracking, and performance documentation.
Training & Development
Coordinate training schedules, track employee participation, and support learning initiatives.
Assist in updating training materials and maintaining development records.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
Support HR initiatives such as policy reviews, process improvements, engagement surveys, and diversity/inclusion programs.
Participate in HR data analysis and prepare metrics or dashboards as needed.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
CHRP designation (active or in progress).
Approximately
2 years of experience
in an HR support or generalist role.
Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
