Mississauga Secondary Academy (MSA) is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of our Human Resources department, helping to maintain a positive and efficient workplace environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Assist the HR team with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and physical, in compliance with school policies and privacy regulations
Help coordinate staff schedules, meetings, and internal communications
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner
Assist in tracking staff attendance, leave requests, and performance review deadlines
Ensure compliance with employment standards and assist in maintaining a safe, respectful workplace
Provide general administrative support to the HR department and contribute to a positive work environment
Prepare, organize, and file HR documentation such as contracts, offer letters, disciplinary records, and policy acknowledgements
