We are currently seeking a HR Assistant to join our growing team.

As the HR Assistant, you will work closely with all aspects within the Human Resources department. This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a wide variety of Human Resource disciplines. The HR Assistant is an integral part of the HR team with being involved with daily HRIS administration and user support, reporting and analytics, recruitment and employee onboarding, team member customer service and corporate culture.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide exceptional service to team members as the first point of contact for inquiries about HRIS system, HR related processes and benefits.
  • Partner with other HR members in maintaining daily HRIS administration, employee records management, data integrity checks, research possible system improvements and troubleshooting, be a resource to users and assist with companywide system updates.
  • Assist in preparing data analytics related to trends, HR metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Support recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, application management and pre-employment testing.
  • New hire onboarding preparation and facilitating orientation, new hire support, benefit meetings and training.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on departmental projects and initiatives utilizing our UKG software system, Excel, Word and Power Point.
You will bring:
  • Completed or currently enrolled in post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources.
  • Education or experience in Administrative Assistant or Business Administration an asset.
  • Prior experience in HRIS maintenance, and data analytics is preferred. UKG, UltiPro, Kronos or similar systems experience is an asset.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (specifically an intermediate level with Excel)
  • Enjoy learning about new software programs and capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Effective in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders in a positive, friendly manner.
  • Proven communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with public speaking for presenting Orientation.
  • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic.
