Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for an HR/Payroll Coordinator with Accounts payable and receivable assistance based out of our Cambridge, ON office. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the HR/Payroll Manager.

Job Overview


Join our dynamic team as a HR/Payroll Coordinator while assisting with Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible HR/Payroll functions as well as managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our accounting department in various capacities. As a HR/Payroll Coordinator you will be tasked with the HR/Payroll functions as well as assisting wih the A/P and A/R functions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 at Sarens Canada. Specific tasks include but are not limited to:

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.

Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Assist in payroll management by collaborating with UKG.

Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and payments while adhering to compliance standards.

Support benefits administration by processing related transactions accurately.

Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Basic qualifications



Payroll certification is considered an asset

3-5 years' experience in similar role

Proficient in accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation.

Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

Familiarity with financial concepts.

Preferred qualifications



Experience using financial software such as UKG and Microsoft D365.

Previous exposure to tax experience or technical accounting practices is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
